James Herndon Singers - This Business Of Living

James Herndon was one of the many artists who after a long period with the Caravans decided to go on his own. Other more famous ex-Caravans members are Shirley Caesar, James Cleveland, Dorothy Norwood, Inez Andrews and Bessie Griffin.
Herndon was pianist for the Caravans from 1959 till 1967 before going solo. I still haven't figured out what Herndon did between 1967 and his debut for Glori records in 1973. He recorded two albums for Glori. "This Business of Living" is the title track from his second album (Glori LP 1027) from 1975. Herndon is singing lead on this song. Other members of the James Herndon Singers are: Sandra Sullivan, Paul Williams and Nathan Murphy.
