I believe in Hoyt Sullivan

Silver Gates Quartet - I Believe

At the moment John Glassburner and I are working on a piece about Hoyt Sullivan and the discographies of his labels (45s and LPs). And as we both believe that HSE is one of the best labels when it comes down to "seventies" gospel what better song to use listen to than "I Believe" by the Silver Gates Quartet. They had one 45 and one LP released on HSE. Besides recording for HSE The Silver Gates Quartet also recorded for Jewel. All their recording activities seem to have happened around 1970.
A short history on Hoyt Sullivan, his record labels and the discographies will be available in a couple of days at
the website.

    Mr. Morgan,
Hello. I have the album entitled "I Found the Lord". It is not in the best condition but it is a great album. Do you know of anyone who has any LPs of The Harrison Gospel Singers with Squeeky Morgan for sale? Thank you. Michael - michael@volstate.net
