Lillie Jenkins - Ain't No Way
Yet another Gospel Jewel. This time from Lillie Jenkins. According to the text on the backcover, Lillie Jenkins was born in Corpus Christi, Texas where she started singing at a young age at her local church. Before going solo she was a member of the Happy Echoes. There are no recordings of the Happy Echoes as far as I know. "Ain't No Way" comes from the album "Welcome The Vibrant Lillie Jenkins" (1977: Jewel LP 0131). It was her only album for Jewel and so far I haven't found any other recordings from Lillie Jenkins.
