Reverend W. Leo Daniels had eleven albums released by Jewel, making him one of the most prolfic artists on Jewel. Most of his albums are sermons, sometimes with one or two songs. "I Know I've Been Chained" is taken from "The Memorial Album" (1977: Jewel LP 0130).
Jewel released many albums with sermons and so far I've not found an album with sermons in Mint condition. I'm getting the impression that most of the sermon albums were played heavily at home by those who had them.
I think your last sentence is absolutely right. My parents owned a copy of the sermon "Build Your Own Fire" that they played ALL THE TIME, particularly to hear Rev. Daniels sing "Someone To Care" at the end.

i love that song as well.I'm looking for the sermon where REV DANIELS tells the story about how the train conductor put a little boy off the train in due to the boy not having money or a train ticket. a little old women tell the conductor to bag back and put the little boy back on the train. WHAT IS THE NAME OF THE SERMON...PLS HELP ME

I am an avid fan also. Back in the &0's a purchased an almun (sermon) " It's Coming Up Again" for my grandfather. When he passed away the record took legs and walked away. or years I have ben searching for the album with no luck. Do you have that record? Are you aware of where I may purche it?
Any help greatly appreciated.

I believe that Rev Daniels died in April 1977, aged only 38.
There's a very good tribute record to him - "Come On Home" by the Soul Searchers on Memorial Records from Shreveport LA.

I love Rev. Daniels sermons and songs. I heard a sermon about two years ago while on my way from work I think it was, God Will Build a Church That Will Stand. Do you have that sermon or one with some of those words? Do you know where I might find it?

I have most of Rev. Daniels sermons. I got most of the ones that I have from Amazon. Every Sunday I listen to WAYT a Jena radio station. They play several of Rev. Daniels sermons most every Sunday. I listen to his sermons before retiring for the night.

You Are Not Alone, I love Rev. Daniels also. I don't have that particular sermon. I've been searching for quite sometime for two sermons I purchased for my grandfather in 1975 call "Its Coming Up Again" and "Quit Talking To Yourself". In my opinion these are two of Rev. Daniels' best sermons.
Have you heard them? If so do you know where I can find them?

I have been looking for "Stop Talking" and "It's Coming Up Again" as well. I saw a video of him giving the sermon, "Firey Furance" on line. I was looking for his sermons and happened to find several videos of different ministers. I would love to have all of his sermons and songs.

I listen to Dr. Daniels sermons every night. I visit his church frequently. I live right around the area. email me and I will tell you how to get all the sermons that people can't find. I have the insider information. I loved the man's voice. His daughter called me her father's prodigy. I sound just like the man in my sermons.

I love Rev. W. Leo Daniels sermons and hymns also. I go to sleep listening to them most every night. I have been trying to find "The Memorial Album" that was released, I think in 1977, has a sermon that I have been searching for, "I Know I've Been Chained" Do you know where I can get that album? There is another sermon that I have been trying to find, "A church that will stand". I heard some of this one night on the way from work. I have never heard it since. I don't know for sure if that's the name of the sermon. If you know where I might get these albums I will be forever grateful.
