The Masonic Quintet - An Old Faded Picture

The Masonic Quintet recorded two 45s for the McDaniel label. There were only three releases on the Illinois based McDaniel label, the third being by Eldora McDaniel"An Old Faded Picture" is a 7 and a half minute piece of deep gospel soul with very nice guitar work. I have no idea when this was recorded. To my ears it sounds as late sixties.
Robert H. Harris, original founder of the Soul Stirrers, joined the Masonic Quintet somewhere in the early sixties for more than a decade. Some of Harris' recordings with the Masonic Quintet are available on the CD "Songs We'll Never Forget" . Other members of the Masonic Quintet are: Johnny Smith, Frank Adams and Gilbert Yarborough.
This is a WONDERFUL track! I had not heard it before. Thanks so much for posting it.
