Sensational Nightingales - My Home
The Sensational Nightingales started their career in 1947. Unlike most other long standing groups their membership remained rather constant. Joseph Wallace, Horace Thompson, Charles B. Johnson and Willie George Woodruff were the four men singing on their "My Sisters and Brothers" album they recorded for ABC/Peacock in 1974. Lead singer on "My Home" is Charles Johnson. The Sensational Nightingales' career at Peacock goes back to the late fifties. They recorded 13 albums for Peacock.
