Lem McCall - God Let The Waters Meet

Lem McCall and his own Lem Records Inc. are totally unknown to me. I haven't found any other recordings by Lem McCall or any other recordings on Lem Records. "God Let The Waters Meet" is a very good deep gospel ballad in a style that's very close to the best real soul recordings of 1980.
Love this track Cies...already planned for a future show...
Who he is/was..will remain a mystery...but we are used to that..so many talented singers came & went..

Hi Barry,
I'm glad you like the song and will play it in a future show. Artists like Lem McCall deserve a wider audience. The thing I always hope when writing an entry about an obscure artists is that the artist or one of his relatives reads it and knows that there are still people out there who appreciated the work they've done several decades ago.
