Five Blind Boys of Alabama - I Can See Everybody's Mother (Live)

Five Blind Boys of Alabama - I Can See Everybodys' Mother (live)

For everything you always wanted to know (and a lot more) about the Five Blind Blind Boys of Alabama and Clarence Fountain, the best place to visit is Red Kelly's five part series on them at his Holy Ghost blog.
Part 1:
The Early Years
Part 2: Clarence Fountain, the Solo Years
Part 3: Back Together, the Eighties
Part 4: Roscoe Robinson, his life as a Blind Boy
Part 5: The New Millenium
"I Can See Everybody's Mother" fits in somewhere between part 1 and 2. It's taken from the(only?) live album they ever recorded; "Church Concert in New Orleans" (HOB LP 275). It was recorded live on May 19, 1967 in the New Hope Baptist Church in New Orleans. It's their third HOB album out of nine issued by HOB and it was released about a year before Clarence Fountain went solo at Jewel .
