The Friendly Five - He's My Rock

 

This is our third visit to the Prophecy label in a relatively short time. After the previous visits to Eloise Polk and The Tennessee Hummingbirds (links to the music are still active),  today it is time for The Frienldy Five to get some attention.
Groups with the name "The Friendly Five" recorded for Authentic, Atlantic, Cherub, Crown Limited, Dooto, Gabriel, USA. It's very unlikely that all these recordings are by one and the same group. I haven't been able to connect 'our' Friendly Five to any of the other ones. The name Mike Crowder ('our' lead singer) hasn't been much of a help. Perhaps any one of you can help us out with establishing which Friendly Five recorded for which label.
So, not much information on The Friendly Five, but as some kind of compensation I've earlier on this week uploaded a Prophecy discography to the website.
