We end our series of 10 female gospel artists with more than 7 minutes of Amazing Grace by Gladys McFadden & the Loving Sisters. This group recorded nine albums for Peacock between 1963 and 1978. Over the years membership of the Loving Sisters remained rather consistent. Members of the early days: Gladys Williams (married McFadden), Lorraine Williams (married Leeks), Josephine Williams (married Dumas), Anna Williams (married James) were still in the line-up in 1978. 'Amazing Grace' is taken from their album "Gospel Soul" (Peacock LP 59236).
