Junior-Aire's Spiritual Singers - Please Don't Let Prayer Fade Away

Junior-Aire's Spiritual Singers - Please Don't Let Prayer Fade Away

This is our fourth visit to the Prophecy label in a couple of months. All three previous entries can be found in the Blog Archive (links to the music are still active).  "Please Don't Let Prayer Fade Away" is a very solid deep soul gospel ballad.
I haven't found any more information on the Junior-Aire's Spiritual Singers or a group with a closely related name. The only thing I know is that is in my opinion the best song recorded on the Prophecy label. Listen and judge for yourself.

    Hi Ben,

I'm glad you like the song.
And yes I check your blog once or twice a week, especially the Surniame/Jamaica stuff.
Any chance of adding some Carrabiean gospel?

VERY nice indeed! You're doing an excellent job alerting us to the obscure but wonderful Prophecy label. Keep up the great work.

    John,
Every day I'm surprised how much 'seventies' gospel music has remained for so long in obscurity. There are so many small and obscure labels deserving wider recognition that this alone will keep this blog going on for years.
