Two days later and another visit to the HLF label out of Chicago. And what a two days it has been! Regular contributor John Glassburner had a telephone conversation with HLF owner HLF Hayes Farmer, answering almost all questions we still had about HLF. And if that isn't enough, John also came up with 10 additons to the HLF discography. According to mister Farmer, who is now 73 years old, our discography is complete. He couldn't remember any releases we don't have in our discography.
The Space Singers started their career as the Spiritual Shepherds in 1956. A couple of years later they changed their name into The Space Singers. As the Space Singers they recorded 2 45s and one album for HLF. They also recorded one 45 for the HLF related Cuca label.
