New Brunswick All Stars - I Won't Turn Back
The New Brunswick All Stars was formed in 1967. Under the leadership of Willie Lockhart they made 4 45s for Richburg(h). Most of the 45s made it on the album "Jesus Is A Rock" (Richburg LP 00143) that was released some time in the late 1970s. The album, as so many of the Richburg productiosn, was produced by Richburg owner Fred McGriff. McGriff was certainly a man who know how to get the best out of his artists. Besides Willie Lockhart I haven't been able to figure out who the others of the New Brunswick All Stars were.

i just picked up their LP for a buck at the englishtown fleamarket right outside new brunswick NJ. ill check the list of personnel. this is seriously a great record though, from the perspective of a soul, funk and jazz collector... i was gambling on this when i got it, and was pleasantly suprised. the production rules... and willie can sing his ass off. and mean it.
