The Fantastic Sounds - At The Gate

The Fantastic Sounds recorded one album in their career, a selftitled album for Abec in 1979 (Abec LP 7003). Abec was a Memphis based record company. On the backcover of the album eight names of members of the Fantastic Sounds are given, while at the picture on the front their are only six. The eight names are: Melvin Carter (lead vocalist, lead guitar), Thomas Roach (lead vocal, 2nd tenor), Isadore McGhee (baritone), Oscar Smith (rhythm guitar, music director), Cleodis Coburn (1st tenor), Robert Thomas (bass guitar), Harold "BoBo" Mincey (drums & vocals), Bojack Thomas (organ).
