Dorothy Love Coates - Lord You've Been Good To Me
Dorothy Love Coates - Lord You've Been Good To Me (live)

What a voice!!!
The more I listen to Dorothy Love Coates the more I get overwhelmed by her powerful voice. In my opinion one of the most powerful voices we will ever find in music. As with Consolers who we featured a few days ago Dorothy Love Coates had a live album issued by AVI in the early 1980s. Dorothy Love Coates shared the album with the B.C.&M Mass Choir; each had its own side. The album titled "Live" (AVI LP 50007) was released in 1981. Unfortunately there is no recording date given, as for the location, it was somewhere in Nashville. Anyway who cares about this lack of information when you're listen to Dorothy Love Coates tearing down the house with more than 10 minutes of "Lord You've Been Good To Me".
I gotta agree with Cies. There was no one more deeply moving and soulful than Dorothy Love Coates!

I always appreciate it when something likes the music I've made available. Actually all reactions are welcome and appreciated. It's good to read that you really really like this song. There are only 2 songs by Dorothy Love Coates on the album. I will write upload the second song sometime in the coming weeks. Sorry, but I won't sell the album.
