Staple Singers - When I'm Gone (live)

In the last couple of days we've been focussing on family groups and when talking about "seventies" gospel music sooner than later you will have to talk about the Staple Singers.  Today's selection comes from thier pre-Stax days. "When I'm Gone" is from their 1965 "live" album 'Freedom Highway' (Epic LP 24163). The album was recorded at Chicago's New Nazareth Church.
