Mighty Reverlaires - Sunshine After Every Rain

The Mighty Revelairs are from Aiken, South Carolina and were organised in 1969 with just four members. At the time of recording their first and only album "Try Him For Yourself" (Pitch LP 1005) in 1978 there were eight members. Members at the time of recording were: J.C. Green (lead singer), Ben Johnson (soprano), Wilbur Johnson (baritone), Joe L. Fulmer (lead guitarist), James Smith (bass guitarist), James Cobbs (organist), and Bobby Lanham (drummer) .
"Sunshine After Every Rain" is taken from their album. It was also released as a 45: Pitch 157. They released two 45s at Pitch. Prior to recording for Pitch, they recorded 2 45s for Su-Ann.
