Golden Stars - All Day Long

As mentioned in previous posts there are several groups with the name Golden Stars. In the last couple of weeks we've been listening to The Golden Stars of Chicago and The Golden Stars of Greenwood,SC. Today we have a third group with the name The Golden Stars. They are from Connecticut and recorded one album for Champ and one for Charioteer. "All Day Long"  is taken from their Charioteer album "Give Me Grace" (Charioteer LP 1013).
The liner notes on the Charioteer album don't give a group line-up. The only two names given are Luddie Dobbs Jr.  and Nate Atkins, both leadsinger of the Golden Stars. The Champ album gives a full line-up. That line up is: Luddie Dobbs Jr. - lead vocal, Homer Ringwood - second tenor, Gene Dobbs - baritone, Tim Witherspoon - first tenor & bass guitar, George C. Staton Sr - bass & baritone, Curt McFaddin - lead guitar, James Thompson - rhythm guitar, Steve Carrington - drums, Ray Cobb - organ. Nate Atkins who is singing lead on "All Day Long" wasn't a member of the group when they recorded for Champ.
