Meditation Singers - Since I Found Jesus
Meditation Singers - Since I Found Jesus

The Meditation Singers were formed in the late forties in Detroit by Earnestine Rundless. Members of the Meditation Singers who later crossed over into secular music were Della Reese and Laura Lee. After a career that took them from Specialty, HOB, SAR, Gospel, D-Town, and Checker they issued two albums for Jewel in the first half of the 1970s. Earnestine Rundless was still leader of the group at that time, it is not known who the other Meditation Singers were at that time. "Since I Found Jesus" is taken from their second Jewel album "Alright" (Jewel LP 0071) from 1973.
