Loving Sisters - Forgiving Is Easier Than Forgetting
Loving Sisters - Forgiving Is Easier Than Forgetting

The Loving Sisters were the female group with the most album releases on Peacock. Throughout their career they've only made records for Peacock. All nine albums are of consistent quality. The Loving Sisters, Gladys McFadden, Loraine Leeks, Josephine Dumas, and Ann James began their professional career in 1962. In the mid seventies George Williams, Larry James and Leonard Givens joined their mothers, resulting in the album "The Sisters And Their Sons" (Peacock LP 59204). Like many of their songs the lyrics of "Forgiving Is Easier Than Forgetting" aren't strictly gospel.
