Sensational Traveling Stars - My Day
In a previous blog entry, about a month ago, on the Sensational Traveling Stars, it was Fred James who confirmed that the groups recording for Merton and Sur-Speed are the same.
The Sensational Traveling Stars recorded one album for Sur-Speed. "Give Me My Flowers While I'm Living" (Sur-Speed LP 106) was recorded in 1971. The album cover doesn't give us a lot of information. There is no full line-up of the group given. The following men were members of the group: Henry A. Gladney, Johnny Everett, and Robber Orr Jr.
Another great one! It would be great to track down other albums on Sur-Speed or Bullet. It's known that the Dixie Travelers, or Dynamic Dixie Travelers, recorded an album for Bullet. Anyone have that one or any others?
