Archie Dale - He'll See You Through

If it's gospel-funk you're looking for, you've found the right song. "He'll See You Through" by Archie Dale & the Tones of Joy is one of the funkier songs you will ever hear on this blog. The specialist re-issue label Numero released some time ago the excellent Good God! A Gospel Funk Hymnal full of obscure gospel funk. Archie Dale wasn't on that CD, but he would have fit in nicely.
"He'll See You Through" is taken from the album "Testify For Jesus" (Jewel LP0133) which was released in 1977. Archie Dale & the Tones of Joy made their record debut for Lu-Sound in 1975 with the album "God Bless This World". After their only album for Jewel, they recorded one album for Rejoice, 2 albums for Nashboro, and 2 for Black Label.
